So today I went on an adventure to find the French Embassy…in the rain…and the cold..lol I finally found it but they only speak French. Go figure :P So on the way back (or the attempted way back...) I came across a mall, and as I really wanted a coat, decided to stop there. I did find a coat (yay!) and afterwards saw that there was a movie theater in the mall. Since I had no real reason for hurrying back home (and I wasn’t completely sure where home was from that mall) I decided to see a movie! They were showing Eat, Pray, Love so I tapped the two girls in front of me and asked if the movie had English subtitles. One of the girls lit up and rattled off something I didn’t catch to her friend. Then she said to me “you help me in dorm.” Turns out she was the girl I’d helped a couple days ago. She was really sick and couldn’t move while in the bathroom so I’d gotten her medicine and helped her find some friends and they’d taken her back to her room. I hadn’t recognize her dressed up and healthy looking. They invited me to join them so I ended up going with her and her friends to the movie and dinner and then a METU student club afterwards. They’re currently teaching me their favorite Turkish songs – it’s pretty fun! J
