I tried making a turkish dish today…let’s just say it was a failure lol The stove in our dorm has two temperatures: on and off. I couldn’t actually read the directions except for the word "simmer" which i didn't know how to do on a stove with one setting. Do you hold it just above the stove instead of setting in on it or something? lol so I just kinda winged it…let’s just say I’m pretty sure it didn’t look like it was suppose to and I know it didn’t taste like it! It was pretty bad...Oh well :)
Marvey tried saying something to the 3 of us in English tonight but it really wasn’t making sense…the words where in English, but I’m not sure what she was saying. Finally she stopped, stared at us for a moment and then said, “Tamam, simdi kapatma duyuyorum.” (Okay, I’m shutting up now) We all started laughing.
Today has been crazy. First off, I don’t know where my mind went but I lost it…or it just got scrambled, not sure. But I’ve been typing and typing and typing all day since class. For papers, final reviews, etc. I have my first final tomorrow. I typed so much that my arms and back started spazzing so it forced me to stop for a little bit because I couldn’t type.
My roommate Zu made some Kazakhstan food tonight for all of us so that was fun.
