The Arab Spring

I’m writing two papers today – one on China and one on the Arab Spring. I asked my friend kt which one I should start with (we’re studying together) and she said “the arab spring! That sounds like fun.” So I was working on that and got stuck on part of it and told kt that and she said “just write about sunshine and daisies.” I was like “huh?? How is that related?” We stared at each other in confusion and she said “I thought you were writing about the arab spring.” “yeah. So I don’t think sunshine and daisy’s apply.” “huh?” “The arab spring – all the protests that have been going on the in the middle east.” “oooh…” “Wait…did you think I meant a season, like spring, summer, fall, and winter?” “yeah!! That’s why I said write about that, it seemed easy!” lol
