On Castles…
So on my way to Turkey’s Mediterranean coast, I got to spend two nights in a castle! <3 It was soo cool! The castle was super close to the ocean, which made it even cooler, and hey, how many people get to say they spend the night in a castle???
On Greece…
Legend has it that when God divided the cultures and languages that he give them each a part of the world, but didn’t give Greece any part. So, the Greeks came before God and said “Please give us some land.” So God looked and looked over the earth, but all the land was taken, so he took a little part of heaven, and placed it on the earth for the Greeks to live on. And that’s how Greece was created. (or so the Greeks told me) Greece is gorgeous! When I first stepped off the boat I saw the buildings and statues and thought “wow, they look so Greek! Wait a min…I’m in Greece!” lol But as beautiful as Greece is, and trust me, it is…Turkey still holds a closer place in my heart. :) It defiantly made me want to go watch My Big Fat Greek Wedding again though lol More pictures are on facebook :)
